Black Bird
This image is part of my "The 100" Series. Only 100 prints will be made in all Edition sizes.
"Black Bird" is an etherial image of snow falling on snow covered ground and trees. It was made early morning after having snowed all night. I wanted to really speak to the amount of snow still falling; I wanted it to be seen in the sky, almost like a snow globe.
There is a black bird sitting at the top of the central tree. It provides perspective, and animates the scene. It was in fact that blackbird that first caught my attention and made me respond artistically.
Matted and mounted with Conservation-Quality, Acid-free mats and available framed with UV-Protective, Reflection-control glass. Please specify molding color in your order.
